Microsoft tries to fix Windows 10, ends up breaking the Start menu

Gracious dear, it appears Microsoft has by and by discharged a dodgy fix for Windows 10, with an ongoing fix – which should address the issue of Cortana and the hunt box causing spikes in CPU utilization – really causing more issues, with reports rising that search. In both the Start menu and Taskbar never again works.

The fix, KB4515384, was discharged on Tuesday, September 10, and keeping in mind that it appears to have halted SearchUI.exe from causing undue weight on processors, it creates the impression that it has broken pursuit in Windows 10 totally.

Windows 10 Bugs

Different clients have taken to Reddit to gripe that they are getting a blunder message that says “Your Start menu isn’t working. We’ll attempt to fix it whenever you sign in.”

Microsoft is obviously mindful of the issues and is chipping away at a fix. For the fix.

This is another instance of Microsoft discharging an update that seems to cause the same. Number of issues as it fathoms, and there is an expanding number of Windows 10 clients who are becoming naturally ill of it.

Until Microsoft issues a fix, you will need to either pick among Cortana and search causing spikes in your CPU use, or applying the most recent fix and losing search by and large. In our view, we’d preferably penance search so as to hold CPU use down – however it’s a decision we shouldn’t need to make.

How about we trust Microsoft discharges a fix rapidly – and that this fix doesn’t wind up breaking something different.
